The vehicle itself is not incidental to the luxury chauffeur experience — for the UHNW client, the choice between the Mercedes S-Class and the EQS, between the V-Class for a group and the S-Class for a principal, is a considered decision that reflects the occasion, the profile of the passenger, and the statement intended. FFGR maintains a Paris fleet centred on the Mercedes S-Class (W223, long-wheelbase) as the primary executive transfer vehicle, the Mercedes EQS (fully electric, the contemporary alternative to the S-Class for clients who prefer zero-emission transport) for the city programme, and the Mercedes V-Class (extended wheelbase, up to seven passengers) for family, group, or baggage-intensive programmes. Rolls-Royce and Bentley vehicles are available on specific request for ceremonial occasions.
Mercedes S-Class W223 — the Paris executive standard
The Mercedes S-Class W223 (long-wheelbase — the 3,216mm wheelbase version) is the global benchmark for executive ground transport and the primary vehicle in the FFGR Paris fleet. The long-wheelbase S-Class provides 1,087mm of rear-seat legroom (extended wheelbase), the MBUX Hyperscreen interior system, Burmester 4D Surround Sound (active noise cancellation integrated with the seat vibration system), rear-seat reclining to 43.5 degrees with an integrated footrest extension, and the dual-zone rear climate system that allows front and rear temperature independence to within one degree.
For the Paris programme, the S-Class is the standard vehicle for: airport transfers (CDG, Le Bourget, Orly), hotel arrivals and departures, business appointments, institutional visits, dinner transfers, and any occasion where the vehicle is the principal point of contact between the client and the FFGR service. The S-Class is available in Obsidian Black Metallic (the primary fleet colour) and Diamond White Metallic.
Mercedes EQS — the electric principal vehicle
The Mercedes EQS (EQS 450+, AMG Line — the long-wheelbase electric sedan) is FFGR's zero-emission executive vehicle for clients who specify an electric vehicle requirement or for programmes where environmental credentials are required by the client's travel policy. The EQS provides 660km of WLTP range (sufficient for the Paris programme including airport transfers without charging interruption), the MBUX Hyperscreen spanning the full width of the dashboard, and rear-seat accommodation equivalent to the S-Class in legroom and comfort.
The EQS is available for all Paris programme applications where the S-Class would be used. For multi-day programmes where the vehicle is in continuous operation (the vehicle runs from morning airport pickup to late-evening dinner return), FFGR charges the EQS at the FFGR operating base overnight to ensure full range availability for the following day.
Mercedes V-Class — the group and family vehicle
The Mercedes V-Class (V 300d Extra Long — the 5,370mm total length version) is FFGR's primary group and family vehicle, seating up to seven passengers in captain's chairs with individual armrests and footrests, or configured as a four-seat lounge with the rear seats facing inward for a conference arrangement. The V-Class boot accommodates up to ten large suitcases with the rear seats occupied (expanded to the full boot when rear seats are removed for luggage-only transfers).
The V-Class is the primary vehicle for: family arrivals from Le Bourget or CDG with luggage (five-plus passengers with checked baggage requires the V-Class), group corporate transfers (for executive teams of four to seven), the school run programme when multiple children share the vehicle, and any occasion requiring the combination of passenger capacity and significant luggage volume. FFGR provides the V-Class as a premium group vehicle — not a minibus — and maintains the same driver and service standard as the S-Class programme.
Rolls-Royce and Bentley — on-request ceremonial vehicles
FFGR provides Rolls-Royce Phantom and Ghost and Bentley Flying Spur and Mulsanne on specific request for occasions where the vehicle itself constitutes the ceremony: wedding arrivals and departures, gala evening transport, significant personal anniversary celebrations, and the arrival at a specific Paris institution or private dinner where the vehicle makes a statement that the S-Class — for all its excellence — does not.
The Rolls-Royce and Bentley fleet is available with advance notice of at least 72 hours and subject to vehicle availability for the specific dates. These vehicles are provided with FFGR's most senior drivers who have specific familiarity with the ceremonial vehicle protocol. Pricing for ceremonial vehicles is available on request through the FFGR reservations office.
Vehicle selection guide — matching the vehicle to the occasion
The vehicle selection for a Paris programme is a decision that FFGR's reservations team makes in consultation with the client's household manager or PA: S-Class for the principal alone or with one guest for any business or institutional occasion; EQS as an S-Class alternative for clients with environmental travel policies; V-Class for any group of four or more passengers or any transfer involving more than three large items of luggage; Rolls-Royce or Bentley for ceremonial occasions where the vehicle itself is part of the experience.
For UHNW programmes that involve the principal and the family at different times of the same day, FFGR provides two vehicles — the S-Class for the principal's business programme and the V-Class for the family's leisure programme — operating in parallel under a single coordination managed by FFGR's operations team.
