Paris Equestrian and Polo Chauffeur — Polo Club de Paris, Chantilly, and the Equestrian Circuit

Ground transport for the Paris equestrian and polo circuit: the Polo Club de Paris (Bois de Boulogne), the hippodrome circuit (Longchamp, Saint-Cloud, Chantilly, Deauville), the polo season at Bagatelle and La Croix-Catelan, and FFGR's approach to equestrian event transport for UHNW families, polo players, and the diplomatic community who follow the Paris equestrian season from April through October.

The Paris equestrian and polo circuit occupies a specific geographic triangle: the western edge of the Bois de Boulogne (Polo Club de Paris at La Croix-Catelan, the Hippodrome de Longchamp along the Allée de Longchamp, the Hippodrome de Saint-Cloud across the Seine), the great northern track at Chantilly (48 kilometres, the Jockey Club, the Prix de Diane), and the seasonal axis to Deauville (Normandy, two and a half hours, the Polo World Cup and the summer flat racing meeting). FFGR manages the equestrian transport programme as a seasonal circuit — vehicle positioning at specific paddock and member entrance gates, coordination with stable managers for horse transport logistics, and day-rate transport for the extended equestrian afternoon.

Polo Club de Paris — Bois de Boulogne

The Polo Club de Paris (La Croix-Catelan, Bois de Boulogne, Route de la Muette, 16th arrondissement) is the primary polo venue in the Paris metropolitan area, operating from April through October with tournaments, club days, and the prestigious Coupe d'Or de Bagatelle. The club grounds are within the Bois de Boulogne — access from central Paris via the Porte de la Muette or Porte de Passy on the western side of the Bois, then the Route de la Muette through the park. The transit from the 8th or 16th arrondissement residences is ten to twenty minutes.

For polo players and their grooms travelling with equipment, FFGR provides the V-Class (for players and 6+ items of kit) coordinated with a separate vehicle for the family or guests. For spectators attending the Coupe d'Or or Bagatelle club days, FFGR positions the vehicle at the La Croix-Catelan club gate and manages the afternoon programme — pre-match arrival, polo interval, and post-match return or onward dinner — as a seamless sequence.

Hippodrome de Longchamp — Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe

The Hippodrome de Longchamp (2 Route des Tribunes, Bois de Boulogne, 16th arrondissement) is France's premier flat racing track and the venue for the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe (first Sunday of October) — the most valuable flat race in Europe. The Longchamp approach for VIP arrivals follows the Route des Tribunes through the Bois de Boulogne from the Porte Maillot direction, with the President's enclosure and the Longchamp private entrance reserved for licence holders and official guests.

For the Arc weekend, FFGR manages the traffic around the Bois de Boulogne by entering from the Allée de Longchamp (Porte d'Auteuil direction) rather than the primary Route des Tribunes approach which becomes congested three hours before the main race. For members of the Jockey Club or holders of private boxes, FFGR coordinates with the Longchamp event staff on the specific vehicle access point for the enclosure. Transit from the 8th arrondissement hotels to Longchamp is fifteen to twenty-five minutes in non-race-day conditions; allow forty-five to sixty minutes on Arc day.

Hippodrome de Saint-Cloud and the western circuit

The Hippodrome de Saint-Cloud (1 Rue du Camp Canadien, Saint-Cloud, Hauts-de-Seine) is located across the Seine from the Bois de Boulogne, 12 kilometres west of central Paris via the A13 and the Pont de Saint-Cloud. The track operates a full flat and jumps calendar with Grade I and II races from April through November. The Saint-Cloud track is adjacent to the Parc de Saint-Cloud — FFGR approaches from the Avenue du Parc via the N10, using the owners and trainers entrance on Rue du Camp Canadien.

For the Hippodrome de Saint-Cloud combined with the Polo Club de Paris in a single afternoon, FFGR manages the circuit as a vehicle-on-standby programme: morning racing at Saint-Cloud, return to the 8th arrondissement for lunch, polo at La Croix-Catelan in the afternoon, evening return. The transit between Saint-Cloud and the Bois de Boulogne is fifteen to twenty minutes via the Pont de Sèvres and the Route de la Reine.

Chantilly — the Jockey Club and the Prix de Diane

The Hippodrome de Chantilly (Route du Maréchal Joffre, Chantilly, Oise) is 48 kilometres north of Paris via the A1 autoroute (exit Chantilly) — forty to fifty minutes in non-race-day traffic. The Chantilly track hosts the two most prestigious French Classics: the Prix du Jockey Club (first Sunday of June, French Derby equivalent) and the Prix de Diane (second Sunday of June, French Oaks equivalent — the principal social event of the French racing calendar).

For the Prix de Diane, FFGR provides a dedicated vehicle programme: morning departure from Paris at 09h30–10h00, arrival at the Chantilly Propriétaires gate by 11h00, vehicle on standby in the designated hospitality vehicle area through the afternoon (the main race runs at approximately 16h15), return to Paris by 19h00–20h00. For families with invitations to the President of the Republic's lunch at the Chantilly château or to the Aga Khan's box (the principal owner at Chantilly), FFGR manages the additional protocol requirements — vehicle positioning, dress occasion timing, and the post-race transfer to the Chantilly Château or the forest route departure.

Deauville — summer polo and flat racing

Deauville (Calvados, Normandy) is two hours and thirty minutes from Paris via the A13 (exit Deauville). The resort hosts the Deauville Polo World Cup (August), the Deauville American Film Festival (early September), and a full summer flat racing programme at the Hippodromes de Deauville-La Touques and Clairefontaine. For UHNW families with a summer programme that moves between Paris, the Normandy coast, and the Côte d'Azur, FFGR manages the Deauville leg as part of the seasonal circuit.

For the Deauville Polo World Cup in August, FFGR provides multi-day programmes: Paris–Deauville on Friday (check-in at the Normandy Barrière or Royal Barrière hotels), polo Friday afternoon through Sunday, return to Paris Sunday evening or Monday morning. For polo players competing in the Deauville World Cup, FFGR provides an additional V-Class for equipment transport while the primary vehicle carries the player and family.

Booking the equestrian circuit with FFGR Paris

Equestrian and polo transport is booked as a seasonal programme for regular participants or on a per-event basis for one-off race day or polo day attendance. For the major events (Arc, Prix de Diane, Coupe d'Or, Deauville World Cup), FFGR recommends booking the vehicle programme at least four weeks in advance — race day and polo tournament traffic management requires specific positioning knowledge that varies by event.

Contact us at reservation@ffgrparis.com or WhatsApp +33 7 43 46 14 91. For polo players in residence for the Paris season (April–October), FFGR provides the standing vehicle programme as a weekly arrangement covering training days at La Croix-Catelan, tournament weekends, and the social circuit of the Paris polo community.

Reservering

The Paris equestrian and polo circuit — from the Polo Club de Paris at La Croix-Catelan to the Prix de l'Arc at Longchamp to the Prix de Diane at Chantilly — defines the outdoor social calendar of the UHNW Paris community from April through October. FFGR manages this circuit as a seasonal vehicle programme, not a series of individual bookings. Contact us: reservation@ffgrparis.com · WhatsApp +33 7 43 46 14 91.
