Paris Le Bourget Airport Chauffeur — Private Aviation, FBO and the Principal Aviation Hub for Paris

Ground transport for Le Bourget Airport (LBG) — Paris's dedicated private aviation hub: FBO coordination with Signature Aviation, Jet Aviation, and ExecuJet at Le Bourget, tarmac arrival and departure management, terminal access for UHNW clients and aircraft owners, the Le Bourget air show transport programme, and FFGR's approach to private aviation ground transport for the principal Paris private jet terminal.

Le Bourget Airport (Aéroport de Paris-Le Bourget, LBG — 9 kilometres north-east of central Paris, Commune de Le Bourget, Seine-Saint-Denis) is the principal private aviation hub for Paris and the most active business aviation airport in Europe by movements. Unlike CDG and Orly — which handle a mix of commercial, charter, and private traffic — Le Bourget is entirely dedicated to business and private aviation, with no scheduled commercial services. The FBO infrastructure at Le Bourget is mature: Signature Aviation (terminal at the southern perimeter), Jet Aviation (mid-field terminal), and ExecuJet (northern position) each operate dedicated passenger terminals with customs and immigration facilities, private lounges, and direct tarmac vehicle access. FFGR manages Le Bourget arrivals and departures as the primary private aviation ground transport for its Paris client base.

Le Bourget FBO circuit — Signature, Jet Aviation, ExecuJet

The three principal FBOs at Le Bourget occupy different positions on the airfield perimeter, each with a separate road approach from the Avenue de la Division Leclerc (the main road passing Le Bourget's southern boundary) or the Route Nationale 2 (approaching from the north). Signature Aviation Le Bourget is accessed from the Boulevard de la Foire de Paris; Jet Aviation is accessed from the Avenue Aimé Giral; ExecuJet is on the northern perimeter.

FFGR coordinates the FBO access protocol for each client arrival at Le Bourget: the handling agent (Signature, Jet Aviation, or ExecuJet depending on the operator's arrangement) confirms the estimated block-on time, FFGR positions the vehicle at the FBO airside/landside boundary, and the client transfers directly from the aircraft steps to the vehicle without entering the terminal public areas. For departures, FFGR delivers the client to the FBO departure lounge, and the handling agent manages the airside transfer from the lounge to the aircraft.

Tarmac coordination — the Le Bourget protocol

Le Bourget is more permissive than CDG in terms of vehicle access to the airside areas — the FBOs at Le Bourget maintain direct tarmac vehicle access under specific operator accreditation, and for clients arriving on their own aircraft (or on aircraft where they control the ground handling arrangement), the vehicle can be positioned directly on the apron adjacent to the aircraft steps.

For UHNW clients who have pre-arranged tarmac vehicle access at Le Bourget, FFGR coordinates with the FBO operations team approximately 60 minutes before the aircraft's expected arrival to confirm the apron position. The driver holds the relevant airside access credentials issued by the Préfecture de Police for Le Bourget operations. The transit time from the Le Bourget apron to the 8th arrondissement hotels is 25–40 minutes via the Boulevard Périphérique or the A3/A1 depending on the time of day.

Customs and immigration at Le Bourget

Le Bourget offers dedicated customs and immigration facilities for arrivals from non-Schengen countries and for departures where customs inspection is required. The customs process at Le Bourget is handled within the FBO terminal — the FFGR vehicle waits on the landside of the FBO while the client clears customs, typically ten to twenty minutes for a standard private jet arrival from outside the Schengen zone.

For arrivals where significant personal effects or commercial goods are accompanying the client (standard for clients arriving from US or Asia with luggage volumes that may trigger customs attention), FFGR provides the V-Class as the primary vehicle to accommodate the luggage volume post-clearance. FFGR does not manage the customs declaration process but coordinates the vehicle to be ready immediately upon customs release.

The Paris Air Show — Le Bourget biennial

The Paris Air Show (Salon International de l'Aéronautique et de l'Espace — SIAE) is held at Le Bourget every two years in June (odd years), closing the airport to private aviation traffic for the duration of the show. The Air Show occupies the full Le Bourget airfield for nine days, with the last five days open to the public. FFGR provides transport for the Air Show as a specialist programme: industry guests with invitations to private pavilions (Boeing, Airbus, Safran, Thales, Dassault — each maintains a private reception area at the show), delegations attending executive meetings in the VIP chalets, and private jet owners and operators whose aircraft are on static display.

For the Air Show trade days (first four days — Monday through Thursday, industry and press only), FFGR manages the access from Paris to the Le Bourget exhibition perimeter, using the designated parking areas and shuttle connection for non-accredited parking. For invited guests with VIP chalet access (the chalets have direct street access from the Boulevard de la Foire de Paris side), FFGR delivers directly to the chalet entrance.

Overnight and multi-day Le Bourget programmes

For UHNW aircraft owners based in Paris for extended periods (a week or more) whose aircraft is parked at Le Bourget, FFGR provides a standing Le Bourget programme: daily vehicle availability for airport visits (to check on the aircraft or meet the crew), pickup at Le Bourget when arriving from secondary trips, and the airport transfer when departing Paris for the next destination. The standing Le Bourget arrangement is coordinated with the client's PA or aircraft management company.

For fractional ownership clients (NetJets, VistaJet, Flexjet — all operate from Le Bourget as their principal Paris hub) whose flights are confirmed two to 24 hours before departure, FFGR maintains vehicle availability as a priority booking that can be confirmed at short notice. FFGR is familiar with the scheduling patterns of the major fractional operators at Le Bourget.

Booking Le Bourget transport with FFGR Paris

Le Bourget transport is booked with the FBO name (Signature, Jet Aviation, or ExecuJet), the tail number or flight number, the estimated block-on or departure time, and the destination. FFGR coordinates directly with the FBO operations desk to confirm the actual arrival time — private aviation block-on times can shift significantly due to ATC routing, so FFGR monitors the actual departure time from the origin airport and adjusts the vehicle positioning accordingly.

Contact us at reservation@ffgrparis.com or WhatsApp +33 7 43 46 14 91. FFGR recommends providing the handling agent's contact at Le Bourget when booking arrivals so that the coordination loop (FBO → FFGR → vehicle position) can be established before the aircraft departs its origin.
